September 15th to September 16th 2023

Just one night at Jonathan Dickinson State Park on our way to the Keys. Site number 88 in the Pine Grove campsite lacked shade, but full hook-up and stellar internet made up for it. Only one nearby trail for dog walks, but hey, quality over quantity! There was a bike track for some off road exercising and a large lake provided a great spot to sit and watch the sunset. We spotted a massive tortoise in its den – seriously cool. We did have the same spot booked for one night on our return trip but after driving through the River Campground we cancelled it and booked one in that part of the campsite just to see how that was. Not sure we would come here for an extended stay for for a stopover it’s great.
